The European Maritime Day 2024 took place in Svendborg, Denmark, on May 30-31, 2024. This event brought together more than 1100 maritime experts and actors to discuss the future of the ocean.

Svendborg, a Danish coastal city steeped in maritime heritage, hosted this dynamic gathering. Organised by the European Commission, the Municipality of Svendborg, and the Danish Maritime Authority, the European Maritime Day (EMD) showcased the latest developments, insights, and innovations in the maritime sector.

Workshops at EMD 2024 provided a platform for in-depth discussions on critical maritime topics. Experts, policymakers, and industry leaders engaged in lively debates about sustainable shipping practices, climate resilience, and ocean governance. From circular economy models to digital innovations, these workshops fostered collaboration and knowledge exchange.

There were many booths at the EMD, where various stakeholders showcased their work, projects, and initiatives. These booths served as interactive spaces for networking, knowledge exchange, and collaboration. Attendees explored cutting-edge technologies, sustainable practices, and exciting projects related to the blue economy.

Mission Atlantic was present with a booth to show the work that has been done so far during the project. Showing the Integrated Ecosystem framework and how it can be used for better decision-making.

Furthermore, the new Mission Atlantic project video was released at the EMD! You can find the video on our YouTube: https://lnkd.in/dAn9HQxH.
