A one-year postdoctoral fellowship is currently available at Instituto de Estudos do Mar Almirante Paulo Moreira (IEAPM), Brazil as part of the EU Horizon 2020 funded project MISSION ATLANTIC.

This post will support the development of big data technology and managing integrated ecosystem assessment (IEA) as part of MISSION ATLANTIC WP2.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Image Processing, or related areas and previous experience (at least 5 years) in biological/medical imagery and a compatible curriculum. Experience in FlowCam, Zooscan, UVP, optical microscopy, computer languages, and software (e.g. C++, Phyton/Jupyter, R, Surfer, ImageJ) is desirable. Fluency in the English language is required and additional language skills in Portuguese or Spanish would be advantageous. The salary associated with this fellowship is R$6,110 per month.
